The predominated engine specs of an automobile company only bearing petrol and diesel are not much of a compulsion these days. The look for alternate fuels has embarked on a journey whereby we can lay hands on hybrid, CNG or the LPG engine variants.
The same applies to the Indian automobile industry, where companies are now offering the same. There’s readily a batch of new-age LPG cars in the market. It works the same as the CNG configuration with the LPG kit pre-fitted from the factory.

8) Maruti Suzuki Omni
The only MUV with a company fitted LPG engine, this one fared successfully during its time. It had a petrol/LPG engine with performance similar to the other variants of it.
The MUV supported a commercial and passenger carrier feature and was loved throughout. It supported up to 7 passengers and had an engine of 796 cc. The engine generated a power of 29 PS and a torque of 50 Nm.

7) Chevrolet Spark
The Spark model from Chevrolet made rounds when the LPG variant was launched back a few years ago. This one had dual engine support for petrol and LPG.
The car made numerous headlines at the time due to its performance and superior offerings. It had a mileage of 18.4 km/ltr.

6) Tata Indica Xeta
A hatchback variant from Tata with its famed Indica variant, this one has a company fitted LPG/petrol engine. Although the piece is discontinued these days, the car is still found at nearest dealers.
It has a power packed performances akin to the other Indica variants and offers a mileage of 17.1 km/ltr.

5) Hyundai Santro Xing
This one is the LPG edition of the best seller Santro model. It features a3-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1086 cc. The engine generates a power of 62.1 Bhp and a torque of 96.1 Nm.
The car has 5-speed manual transmission and supports seating capacity for 5 people. It has a stipulated mileage of 13.7 km/ltr.

4) Chevrolet Beat
One from the clan of Chevrolet, this one features petrol/LPG engine option. It has an 1199 cc 4-cylinder engine. The power exerted by the car is 76.8 Bhp with the torque reaching up to 106.5 Nm.
It has 5-speed manual transmission and supports mileage of 17.8 km/ltr.

3) Hyundai Eon
The entry level car from Hyundai comes equipped with an LPG option. The Eon model with variants like Era and Magna feature dual support for petrol and LPG. It has 814 cc engine with manual transmission.
It peaks a power of 56 Ps and a torque of 75 Nm. It has a seating capacity of 5 passengers and features a mileage of 21.1 km/ltr.

2) Maruti Suzuki Wagon R
Maruti Suzuki has their own offering for LPG enthusiasts in the form of Wagon R. This one is a hatchback with a 970 cc engine that features 3 cylinders.
The peak power for the engine is 60 Bhp and the torque remains 150 Nm. It has 5-speed manual transmission. The seating capacity for this one is 5 passengers. The mileage is stated as 18 km/ltr on fuel.

1) Hyundai i10
The most loved hatchback from Hyundai has an LPG variant too. It comes equipped with an LPG engine straight from the factory.
It has 1.1 ltr 1086 cc engine with a power of 68 Bhp and a torque of 99.04 Nm. It features afour-cylinder engine with manual transmission. It allows a mileage of 19.81 km/ltr on fuel.
