Tarek Fatah was born in Karachi, Pakistan, and became Canadian writer, broadcaster, secularist and liberal activist. He was born on 20 November 1949.  He originally belongs to Punjab origin. Muslim Canadian Congress has been founded by him and also served as its communications officer and spokesperson. He also advocated gay rights, a separation of religion and state; he is opposition to Sharia Law.


He has many achievements like involvement in the Ontario New Democratic Party and working in the staff of Premier Bob Rae. He wrote that he decided for leaving NDP because he had established of “faith caucus”. Fatah also stated that NDP imagists have doing pursuance in a campaign to increase a sense of victimhood in Muslim Youth. He got threatened through twitter.

In the United States presidential race in 2016, he also favoured Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.  

He has hosted shows like Muslim Chronicle which was weekly Toronto-based current affairs discussion on CTS and Vision TV, this program was focusing on the Muslim Community. He had played guest host of TVO’s named The Agenda which was filling in for Steve Paikin.

He has played the role “Strong Opinions Show “on Toronto’s CFRB 10. Fatah had joined Ryan Doyle as a co- host of “Friendly Fire” which was shown on CFRB 1010. Tarek Fatah Show had hosted his own show and also appeared on other as a commentator.


He also writes a column for the Toronto Sun, and then appeared on The Sun News Network, the role was of frequent ghost host and commentator prior to the station’s demise in February 2015. He is also a staunch critic of Pakistan in his articles. He hosted shows based on Islamic radicalism.  The liberal secular Muslim has 9 to 5 life, playing his mortgage and providing for his family and he had no time or resources.
