How To Add Beneficiary In ICICI Bank To Transfer Funds?

Before you do that you need to add a beneficiary in your ICICI online banking. Here the simple steps of doing it.

Add Beneficiary In ICICI Bank

  • First you need to go the ICICI net banking website (
  • Here you need to login with your user ID and password.
  • Once logged in, you will see a ‘Fund Transfer’ link on the top left side.
  • Once you click on the link, you will get various ‘Transfer To’ options. You can either transfer to your own ICICI Bank account, another ICICI bank customer or a non ICICI account across India.
  • Once you select from one of the choices, you will be prompted to either add a payee or make a payment to an existing payee.
  • Once you click on ‘Add Payee’ button, you will be taken to another screen.
  • Here you need to add the beneficiary details such as payee name, payee nick name for your future reference and IFSC code. Then click ‘Next’
  • On the next page you will be prompted to enter the ‘payee account number’ twice.
  • Click on ‘Next’ again and you will be asked to check payee information once again before submitting.
  • Upon clicking submit you will receive an SMS on your mobile number registered with ICICI.
  • You then need to click on ‘Confirm Payee’ and enter the code that you received via SMS.
  • Then you need to click again on the ‘Confirm Payee’ button.
  • The beneficiary is successfully added to your ICICI online banking.
