One of the leading Businessman and notable personality rising as India’s superpower in the field of Business has emerged as the leading topic in today’s news, Cyrus Mistry has been thrown out of the post of chairman at Tata Groups voted for the change and Ratan Tata to be showcased as the interim Chairman as the company will decide their next Chairman by February 2017.
Cyrus Pallonji Mistry was born on 4th July 1968 and he is an Irish-Indian Business, born in a Parsi family in Mumbai, Cyrus completed his initial and early education in Mumbai itself from the prestigious Cathedral & John Connon School. Lots of interest in studies and for graduation degree he shifted his base from India to London, Cyrus completed his graduation degree from the well-known Imperial College of London with B.Sc degree in civil engineering. For a more fine line of education in science and marking way towards masters degree, he chose London Business School for a management degree.

Mistry winged his career as a role of managing director of Shapoorji Pallonji & Company that is a sector of Shapoorji Pallonji Group. Mistry’s first collaboration with Tata group was with Tata Sons as he joined the Tata Sons exactly one year after his father retired from the same company with the same positioning. A long chain of services in different branches of Tata groups includes Tata Elxsi Limited and role of Director with Tata Power & Co.
2012 finally served Mistry with the most prestigious positioning in Tata Company as he was promoted as the Chairman of Tata Sons. Added responsibilities of Cyrus Mistry tagged him to overseas other Tata projects- Tata Industries, Tata Steel, Tata Motors and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Tata Power as Chairman.
Cyrus Mistry is the youngest son of Pallonji Mistry a notable name in Construction sector. Mistry is married to Rohiqa Chagla the daughter of famous lawyer Iqbal Changla and the granddaughter of well-known jurist M.C Chagla. Cyrus Mistry and Rohiqa Chagla are blessed with two sons.
Cyrus Mistry is an Irish Citizen with his permanent citizenship of India. In an interview to Irish Newspaper called The Independent that took his interview being a popular and famous name in Ireland, in that interview, Mistry labeled his positioning as not any particular country’s citizen but a global citizen.
The Tata Son Board has voted against Mistry to remove his positioning from the Chairmanship of Tata Sons on 24th October 2016.
